Need:
The cataloging division of National Fire was only about 4 years old and was ready for an image change. Their new direction was to depart from the industrial, manly-man look and appeal to an updated, broader purchaser.

What we did:
We were given creative liberty to follow their goal. First we converted the catalog to color, requiring re-shooting most photographs. We then design pages with subdued type and lots of open space in a free-form format. Emphasis was achieved through the use of earthy colors rather than larger type.
